Edom is a bright little girl who lives with her mother in an impoverished neighborhood of Addis Ababa. Sadly, her father has abandoned the family and she is raised by a single mother. Edom's mother's income is inconsistent even though she works hard as a daily laborer. Her earning is not enough to meet the family's needs and she cannot afford to pay her school fees. Without support, Edom's education is at risk.
